I have been wearing glasses for years! Like, so many I would feel less glamorous with my glasses on than without them. After makeup application, having to be forced to wear my glasses made me feel I was hiding my makeup; this unfortunately was a misperception on my behalf. After trying a few simple tricks, I have been able to overcome my insecurity of wearing my glasses. I feel just as glamorous with them on as I do with them off. Check out these basic steps that may encourage you to wear your glasses as a part of your glam look.
1. Go Neutral- Eye makeup won't be the focus in your look a nice neutral tone will be sufficient since your eye makeup efforts can be overshadowed by your eyewear. Nude eye makeup will be the best choice when wearing glasses.
2. Bold Lips is Necessary- Since you have gone nude on the eyes go bold on the lips, add bright pinks, reds, oranges, or any bold color that you choose would be appropriate when wearing your sexy specs!
3. Mascara-mazing- Use this oldie but goodie when wearing your eye wear just because the eye makeup is nude doesn't mean the impact shouldn't be bold. Besides your eyes can still be seen through your glasses
4.Thick Frames Equals Thicker Eyeliner- When sporting thick frames, (like myself) add more liner to your eye look, it will be more noticed and not overpowered by the thick frames. The same is true with thin frames, thin frames thinner eyeliner application.
5.Play Up Your Cheeks- This is the perfect time to put those glow and blush kits to work; proper application will make your look more glamorous and defined.
