So, what exactly is micellar water? Micellar water is a water-based cleanser that contains tiny micelles, which are oil molecules suspended in water. These micelles act like magnets, attracting and lifting away dirt, oil, and makeup from the skin without the need for harsh rubbing or rinsing. This makes micellar water a great option for those with sensitive skin or anyone looking for a quick and convenient way to cleanse their face.
One of the key benefits of micellar water is its ability to effectively remove makeup. Whether you're wearing a full face of heavy makeup or just a light layer of foundation, micellar water can effortlessly dissolve and remove it, leaving your skin clean and refreshed. It is also gentle enough to use on the delicate eye area, making it a versatile option for removing stubborn mascara and eyeliner.
in addition to its cleansing properties, micellar water also offers hydration benefits, MSC Micellar Water is infused with coconut oil for additional moisture. Unlike traditional cleansers that can strip the skin of its natural oils, micellar water helps to maintain the skin's moisture balance. This is especially beneficial for those with dry dehydrated skin, as it can help to prevent tightness and irritation.
Another advantage of micellar water is its versatility. It can be used as a standalone cleanser, or as a first step in a double cleansing routine. Double cleansing involves using an oil-based cleanser first to remove makeup and sunscreen, followed by a water-based cleanser like micellar water to remove any remaining impurities. This two-step process ensures a thorough cleanse and prepares the skin for the application of other skincare products.
When using micellar water, simply soak a cotton pad with the product and gently swipe it across your face, eyes, and lips. There is no need to rinse afterwards, making it a convenient option for those on the go or for late nights when you're too tired for a full skincare routine.

Today, a key ingredient in beauty products called retinoid is a derivative of Vitamin A and helps prevent wrinkles, cure brown spots, and smooth rough skin. Retinoid is also used in many acne treatments, adding to its reputation as both a protector and preventer.
2. Vitamin B-Complex
B-complex vitamins, in general, are essential for overall beauty health. B-complex vitamins are also known as antioxidants, beneficial for hair, skin, and nail health. B vitamins improve keratin levels in the body, which is essential for promoting healthy, hydrated skin. B-complex vitamins are available in many different foods, such as red meat, poultry, and other dairy products. B-complex vitamins are arguably the best vitamins for beauty.

Vitamin C is vital for healthy, youthful, radiant skin. Like vitamin B-complex, vitamin C boosts collagen production, giving you firmer, clearer skin. 1. Which formula is best for you?
Before choosing the perfect color let's decide what blush formula is perfect for you. There are different types of blushes. Powder blushes is the most commonly used; it comes as a pressed, loose, or mineral powder. Great for all skin types, powder blush is more manageable because you can control the intensity of the color; lightly apply for a more natural effect or apply it heavier for more intense color and depth. There is also other choices my personal favorite is cream blushes. Cream colors come in a pot or as a color stick. Creams are more intense in color; it is easy to go overboard with creams. Remember with cream blushes a little goes a long way. Another popular choice when it comes to blush are cheek stains and liquid blush. I have yet to use this formula myself, but from research and talking to friends that uses liquid blush, they are crazy about! Liquid blush can be worn under foundation instead of using blush as topper to your finished look. These formulas are the most intense in color. The idea of applying them under the foundation supports a natural glow instead of intense cheek color.
2. Try making a fist- Clench your hand tightly into a fist. Immediately open your hand and note the tone of the palm of your hand, the flushed color you see can be used to gauge the tones of your blush. Doing this trick allows you to see your natural tone when you are "blushing" or when your skin is warmed by the sun.
3. The deeper your tone the deeper your blush- The deeper or darker your skin tone is you want to be sure to choose deeper tone blush. As stated earlier, if you choose a color that is too light it will ruin your finished look by making you look pasty or "ashy".
4. Look for colors that are saturated with pigments- A sheer formula or a blush that it isn't intense in color will not show very well on dark skin.
5. For a more natural look be sure to use a blush that has the same color as your undertone- All blush colors are not created the same. Some have tones of brown, reds, orange, blue, yellow, etc. Knowing your undertone if it is cool or warm will allow you to choose the most natural blush color.
I hope these tips will encourage you to embrace wearing blush; celebrate your dark skin with the warm glow of blush.

Step 1: Mix two parts of antibacterial dish soap to one part of extra-virgin olive oil in a clean bowl or plate (do not use paper products, as the oil will seep through).
Step 2: Grab your first brush and wet it slightly with lukewarm water. Make sure the brush stays bristle-side down throughout the entire process. If water gets into the middle tube part that holds the brush together, it can loosen the glue, causing the bristles to fall out.
Step 3: Dip the damp brush into the soap mixture and saturate the brush in the mixture. Next, work the mixture into the bristles using the palm of your hand and fingers. Continue until the soapy residue is makeup free.
Step 4: Rinse the brushes under lukewarm water until no soap runs from the bristles.
Step 5: Roll a dish towel like you would a yoga mat, drape a paper towel over the towel that way most of the paper towel hangs off. (The paper towel should look like a slide coming down from the dish towel). Next, arrange the brush so the top of the handle sits on top of the towel, pitching the rest of the brush down onto the paper towel. This will allow your brushes to dry on a slant, while keeping moisture away from the inner tubes for .
Repeat these steps with any remaining brushes that needs to be cleaned. Some may take two washings to get completely clean, depending on the amount of residue left behind. Allow them to dry overnight, and repeat about once a month.

Remember, aging should be embraced, different phases of your life will call for different techniques. Age should be celebrated not shunned, your beauty is timeless.]]>
1. Primer- Don't skip this amazing product! Though, there are many to choose from, not all are created equal. If you have oily skin you want to focus on a mattifying primer such as Too Faced Matte Primer, or Givenchy's Mister Mat, but if you are on a budget and these are a little too pricey try NYX matte primers. All other skin types such as normal to dry skin should also invest in the Too Faced Primers, if unable to afford give the NYX brand of primers a shot.
2. Foundation- So many consistencies and options out there for a foundation, you really need to know what kind of skin type you have, if you have oily skin, it's best to invest in an oil free matte foundation, dry skin types need to have a moisturizing primer along with a moisture rich foundation, though there are plenty of foundations that cater to every skin type, not all companies cater to every skin tone. Becca Cosmetics, MAC, Too Faced, and other luxury brands have a lot of choices for multiple skin tones even darker skin tones. Fortunately, drugstore brands are embracing the culture of providing more choices for people of color, so if you can't afford a $40 foundation, brands like Revlon, L'oreal, and Maybelline have amazing choices for all skin types and skin tones.
3. Brow Products- If you are a beginner I recommend you start grooming brows with brow powders, the color is buildable and more controllable than a brow gel, brow pencils are also great for beginners, just remember to use a lite hand when applying using a pencil, it can tend to be too dark if applied to heavy.
4. Mascara- Don't sleep on this oldie but goodie. In the age of false lashes of all sorts mascara is often left behind, I recommend using mascara prior to applying strip lashes it allows them to blend in more naturally, also it primes the lashes allowing for more secure application. Besides, if you don't wear false lashes or you are in a rush a little mascara goes along way, it opens the eyes and give you fuller looking lashes!
5. Lipstick/Lipgloss- Of course a pop of color goes a long way, but if you are not a person who shops for makeup often stick to neautral and nude colors to wear daily, something you are comfortable with.
Of course more products such as blush, and eye shadow is a great product to have in the arsenal, but for an everyday basic well groomed look these five products are the pillars of a great everyday face.

]]>The first step is choosing your mascara, there are so many choices out there you want to be sure you are choosing one that fits you best, for example if you have thin very sparse lashes, using a volumizing mascara would be the best choice, or if you have very short or extremely curly lashes that you want to lengthen, try using a mascara that focuses totally on lengthening. Remember there is a mascara for every type of lash look you are trying to achieve. In today's market there are also mascaras that are enhanced with nutrients to promote growth and prevent further damage to unhealthy lashes.
Next you want to pick a shade, though black is usually the go to for all, but if your skin is very fair dark brown or brown, would be a better fit. Play around with colors, blue mascara looks great on dark brown eyes, it actually makes the eye look more brown, purple mascara really compliments green eyes.
Bring back your eyelash curler or go buy a new one, this tool makes a big difference in the lashes, I even like putting black eyeliner on the lash curler prior to curling the lash, it allows for an instant improvement in the appearance of volume.
When removing wand twist open the mascara, then twist around in the bottle to assure the entire brush is covered with product. Be sure to wipe off excess, I often just rub it off on the tube opening or a tissue.
Look up when applying lashes, I heard a way to prevent blinking is to hold your mouth open, for whatever reason this prevents blinking
Be sure to focus on the roots of your lashes, this is where the lashes will appear fuller, besides putting too much on the tips of your lashes will cause product to possibly end up on your face.
Wiggle the wand from the root of lashes to the tip to produce flaring, also be sure to add a second coat get the inner, outer corners, and bottom lashes
Keeping mascara on hand is always a good choice; now that you have read our tips on applying mascara will you wear it more often?
